BAHAMAS PORTS OF ENTRY
The list of Bahamas Ports of Entry changes with some regularity, so it is always best to confirm with your destination marina on the availability and hours of the local Customs & Immigration operation. Before arrival, boaters are strongly advised to call or VHF in advance. Typically, customs operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. although officers are usually very good at accommodating late arrivals, when possible. If you arrive after 5:00 p.m. you may have to clear the next day, or, if you clear later than 5:00 p.m., you may have to pay an overtime fee, usually $50 per hour.
