2. ABM’s smartphone application offers targeted promotional opportunities for members only.
3. ABM’s Bahamas Marinas & Cruising Map has multiple benefits:
a. Our map is the Bahamas boating sector’s #1 printed promotional piece.
b. Only ABM members are allowed to advertise.
c. Only ABM marinas are highlighted in bold red on the chart, which also contain hyperlinks to member's website.
d. Only ABM members are listed in the comprehensive contacts directory.
e. The map is personally distributed through sales calls to top Florida yacht clubs, marinas, boatyards and boating-related businesses.
f. To support island-hopping, the map goes to over 60 Bahamian marinas and locations.
g. It is the main give-away at all major Florida boat shows.
h. The Bahamas Tourist Office and the Bahamas Out Islands Promotion Board distribute the map at fishing, travel, and adventure shows across the US.
4. Social Media – members feature on our dedicated Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube channels.
5. E-newsletters with member news are sent to over 13,000 boater consumers.
6. Members are able to buy their own booth in the Bahamas Pavilion at the Stuart Boat Show.
7. Membership facilitates co-ordination with the Ministry to man booths and represent Bahamas boating at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show and the Palm Beach Boat Show.
Membership dues do not have to be an out-of-pocket expense for our marina members. We recommend a 2% levy on dockage in lieu of a flat rate annual fee. Members who opt for the 2% are Platinum Members are receive additional benefits including:
· Free ad in the ABM Map (1 ½” x 4 ½” on side A)
· Free ads in the ABM app.
· Feature in at least one ABM e-newsletter per year (to over 13,000 boating subscribers)
· Dedicated ABM Blog (content provided by marina)
· 6 dedicated social media posts per year
· Use of ABM Platinum Member logo for member website, plus marked as Platinum member on the ABM website and app.

Ongoing liaison and coordination with the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and local officials on repair and maintenance of aids to navigation (ATONs), lighthouse lights, other boating navigation lights and dredging around the Bahamas.
Lobbying for favorable boating and fishing regulations with the government and tougher laws for boat theft.
Work hand in hand with government on forming policy and dealing with yachting, fishing, taxing, and customs and immigration issues.
Awareness raising and coordination with government on the environmental issues impacting Bahamian waters and marinas.
